My newest sculptures combine objects found in
nature (bones, roots, soil, shells), objects that I
have cast in metal or ceramic,  with old
human-made objects that have their own history.  I
have been influenced by magical realism and also
surrealism.
"Shaman's Medicine
Cabinet"
(medicine cabinet, skulls,
soil, bones, feathers,
leaves, etched glass,
plexiglass)
"Orphaned"
(tree trunk with root,
suitcase, chain and hook)
"Death Takes a Roadtrip"

(suitcase, cast aluminum deer
legs, deer spine, bone, leather,
fabric)
"From the Void"

(old slide case, cast plaster
hands, mirror, shell, fabric)
